The kids had some friends over for trick-or-treating and whatnot. I shot a few of the last ones with natural light and was going to make them black-and-white but I noticed one of my presets made the temp super orange. So I just said why not and exaggerated those warm tones. I called the preset Darkroom. It's kind of Halloween-y I think.
Late spring & early summer I'd been fairly blocked creatively until about July. And I usually try to overcome it by experimenting. So this summer I took a flash or two out with some gels and my Canon G5X. I've been pretty into 80s retro futurism for a while so I feel like this is what came through. Some shots were for clients and some were just me wandering around town. Enjoy.
I shot an fun editorial with Amy Trahey. She's an account director at an agency who is one of my clients. We liked the idea of doing something that was a little fall and a little summer since that's the weather we're in right now. In addition to modeling, Amy did her hair, makeup and styling.
Recently did headshots for Monique Hayward, Director of IT Marketing & Communications at Intel. She was great and her enthusiasm for work and life is contagious. It was a blast.
